Lotus of Lakota Birthing Sanctuary is a developing freestanding birth center in Delaware, currently in pre-launch with a projected opening within 6–9 months.

We are actively building a founding clinical team to help shape a new model of community-centered, culturally responsive maternity care.

We are seeking experienced Certified Nurse Midwives (5+ years) who are interested in stepping into founding leadership roles, including Clinical Director.

This is a unique opportunity to help build clinical systems, establish standards of care, and shape the culture of a new birth center from the ground up.

Lotus of Lakota is being developed as a low-intervention, community-centered birth model with physician advisory support and collaborative hospital transfer protocols.

We are especially seeking clinicians who value autonomy, respectful care, and building something meaningful for the communities we serve.
