Lotus of Lakota Maternal Wellness Foundation exists to advance maternal wellness and birth equity through education, doula support, workforce development, and community-centered programs.
We are committed to improving maternal health outcomes by ensuring women — especially those most impacted by disparities — are heard, respected, and supported throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
Our work is rooted in culturally responsive care, community empowerment, and restoring birth as a safe, supported, and honored experience.

Founded in Delaware, the Foundation is dedicated to building a community-centered model of maternal wellness that prioritizes education, support, and culturally responsive care throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.
Through partnerships, programming, and advocacy, the Foundation works to create safe, supportive environments where families are empowered, informed, and cared for with dignity.
